iProperty.com.my has won the Bronze award in the Property Development category at the Putra Brand Awards 2021 on 21 January 2022. The recognition marks the property site’s first award at the 12th annual ceremony, the premier brand valuation awards measured by Malaysian consumer preferences.

Shylendra Nathan, Country Manager, Malaysia (PropertyGuru.com.my and iProperty.com.my), received the accolade on behalf of the company at the awards gala night held at the Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

“We are honoured to be recognised for our commitment towards enhancing the digital property journey of Malaysian property seekers. We want to thank the consumers for their trust in the iProperty.com.my brand and for choosing us as their preferred property portal. Earning consumer trust is of the utmost importance to us,” said Shylendra.

“We have worked hard to provide them with a complete property picture to give them the edge they seek – our portfolio of offerings include sophisticated decision-making tools and features, in-depth  data and analysis, expert insights into the property market as well as detailed information on listed properties. With more consumers shifting their property journeys from offline to online, we aim to cater to this growing demand and offer the best in digital property experience,” Shylendra added.

The foundation for iProperty.com.my’s success comes from its consumer-centric strategy and innovation of its products and services. Our vision for the future is to be SEA’s property trust platform and we will continue to reimagine ways to serve solutions and insights that make homeownership more achievable for property seekers.

The company has a suite of data-driven products and services that complement every aspect of a property seeker’s journey, including LoanCare, a home loan eligibility indicator and Transacted data, the latest information for up to 10 property transaction history for each property for sale listing page.

When browsing for listed properties, property seekers can see an overview of nearby amenities, capital growth figures, and the estimated rental yield information – all which will help savvy seekers to optimise their decision-making process.

Furthermore, iProperty.com.my provides valuable online resources and guides for Malaysians to familiarise themselves with property buying, selling, renting, and investing.

Over the past year, iProperty.com.my has launched several initiatives to cater to the growing digital demand by property seekers, such as the Malaysia Property Virtual Expo, a fully interactive virtual property exhibition featuring booths from prominent property developers showcasing their latest property launches.

In addition, consumers were able to explore these units in an immersive virtual showroom and receive exclusive rebates and offers. Exclusive webinars featuring property experts offering diverse industry insights, latest property trends, and homeownership tips were also made available.

The company also held several other live webinars on social media, such as iProperty Data Talk, where property experts shared 2021 property market figures and showcased exciting residential and commercial properties nationwide.

In line with its goal of becoming a lifelong and trusted property partner, iProperty.com.my plans to provide a combination of breadth and depth of data and insights to help consumers optimize their property search/decision-making journey.

After 20 years of evolving technology, shifting market trends, and adapting to changing consumer behaviour, the media landscape has nearly reached saturation.

We’ve optimised to the fullest, providing advertisers with abundant choices across technology, platforms, data-driven marketing, CTV, OTTDOOHinfluencer marketing, retail, etc.

Media specialists have diversified, but with more options comes the challenge of maintaining income growth. The industry is expanding, but revenue isn’t keeping pace.

Now, we’re at a TURNING POINT: time to explore and harness new sustainable revenue streams. While GroupM forecasts a 7.8% global ad revenue growth in 2024, challenges like antitrust regulation, AI and copyright issues, and platform bans persist.

Collaboration is keypartnerships that thrive on synergy, shared values, and aligned goals are becoming increasingly essential.

Hence, the Malaysian Media Conference, in its 20th year, has assembled the partners and players under one roof on October 25 for a day of learning, sharing, and exploring.
