The Sime Darby Property Marketing Team was presented with two awards, including the coveted Putra Marketer of the Year award, in 2022.
The Putra Brand Awards, organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents (4As) Malaysia, celebrated its 13th edition by presenting 147 awards in 24 categories to 141 of Malaysians’ favourite brands. Over 25,000 consumer responses were received from across Malaysia during an 8-week-long survey period, certified by IPSOS.
The Platinum awards were presented to Sime Darby Property, among 22 other brands. These votes are based on key factors, such as familiarity, experience, impression, intent to purchase the brand’s products, and the likelihood of brand recommendations.
A further four special awards were presented, including the Putra Marketer of the Year award 2022.
Sime Darby Property earned the Putra Malaysian Marketer Award for the first time in recognition of its exceptional marketing efforts, which included message, advertising strategy, and campaign activity implementation.
“Sime Darby Property is honoured to be named the best and most preferred property developer in Malaysia. Winning the hearts of many is truly inspiring and encouraging.
We would like to dedicate this award to our customers for their confidence in our brand, products, and services,” said Sime Darby Property’s Group Managing Director, Dato’Azmir Merican.
In 2022, Sime Darby Property executed a successful digital transition. The firm strengthened its digital marketing and online efforts to continue engaging with customers from various locations and delivering a comprehensive digital and online sales experience.
Senior advisor to the 4As and chairman of the organising committee for the Putra Brand Awards and the Putra Aria Brand Awards, Dato’ Johnny Mun explained, “The Putra Aria Brand Award is an idea conceived to honour marketers and brand builders who embraced the credo ‘When the going gets tough, the tough get going.’ It is no less prestigious than its older sister, the Putra Brand Award.
Both awards exist to recognise and celebrate brands that have persevered in staying close to their bosses – the consumer.”
In conjunction with Malaysia’s Most Valuable Brands, the 4As created the Putra Brand Awards in 2010. Putra Brand Awards and the inaugural Putra Aria Brand Awards are backed by the Malaysian Advertisers Association, the Media Specialists Association, and the Malaysian Digital Association, as well as endorsed by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation as “Brand Champion Partner” (MATRADE).
