InvictusBlue wins Bronze for “PETRONAS Converts Brand Platforms to Social Media Frontliners!” at APPIES APAC 2022

Starting this week, MARKETING Magazine will be featuring the Bronze winners of APPIES Malaysia and Asia Pacific 2022 Marketing Campaign Awards by sharing the campaign stories.

InvictusBlue received Bronze for their campaign with PETRONAS under the category of Best in Digital & Social.

Their profound knowledge did not only leave the judges astonished even the attendees were enthralled with their amazing live performance that led them to winning the Bronze trophy at APPIES APAC 2022.

Covid19 was a game changer that forced most brands to relook at its core purpose & value in a distressed market. 

Besides that, Malaysians were also going through a difficult time adjusting to the new normal from the perspective of social & mental well-being.

As Malaysia’s favorite corporate storyteller, PETRONAS decided to step up for its fellow Malaysians. The brand offered support with government ministries that were vital in combating the pandemic. 

Then, leveraging on the brand’s connection with Malaysians, PETRONAS converted its brand platforms into social media frontliners with a single-minded objective to combat Covid-19 and the social issues that come with it. 

Malaysians listened and garnered a 27% uplift of Top-of-Mind awareness for PETRONAS while several other oil & gas companies were experiencing a decline.

The APPIES is an annual event that presents a rare opportunity for creative, media, digital and marketing agencies or brands to present their best campaigns to the industry.

This is the only event where Live Presentations meets Live Judging.

Similar to TED Talks, The APPIES is the chance for great presenters with outstanding work to show it off to some of the industry’s most important industry leaders.

This year’s winners will receive Gold, Silver or Bronze trophies for 21 categories, and 6 special Best of Best categories (red trophies) that require no submissions!
