Bee Yin leaves ADA after 3 years

Country Director for ADA Malaysia, Low Bee Yin, is leaving the company after almost 3 years.

Bee Yin (picture) started as GM with ADA, an award-winning data and artificial intelligence company that designs and executes integrated digital, analytics, marketing, and eCommerce solutions. In her long career, she has helped manage brands in the FMCG, Telco and Financial Services industries, like Unilever, Pepsico, Maxis, Celcom, Axiata and HSBC.

Bee Yin was Commercial Director at Courts Malaysia for about 7 years and prior to that was Client Service Director and Head of Digital at M&C Saatchi Malaysia.

ADA operates across 9 markets in South and Southeast Asia, partnering leading brands to drive their digital and data maturity, and business goals.

Bee Yin’s leadership role is slated to be taken over by General Manager Melissa Cheng who has been with the company for almost 4 years.

Melissa is a seasoned player and has worked across a broad spectrum of companies including Yahoo!, Entropia Global, AdColony and Sizmek.

We wish them both the best, moving forward.

After 20 years of evolving technology, shifting market trends, and adapting to changing consumer behaviour, the media landscape has nearly reached saturation.

We’ve optimised to the fullest, providing advertisers with abundant choices across technology, platforms, data-driven marketing, CTV, OTTDOOHinfluencer marketing, retail, etc.

Media specialists have diversified, but with more options comes the challenge of maintaining income growth. The industry is expanding, but revenue isn’t keeping pace.

Now, we’re at a TURNING POINT: time to explore and harness new sustainable revenue streams. While GroupM forecasts a 7.8% global ad revenue growth in 2024, challenges like antitrust regulation, AI and copyright issues, and platform bans persist.

Collaboration is keypartnerships that thrive on synergy, shared values, and aligned goals are becoming increasingly essential.

Hence, the Malaysian Media Conference, in its 20th year, has assembled the partners and players under one roof on October 25 for a day of learning, sharing, and exploring.
