Javed spent eight months as the Ice Cream SEA & Indonesia DMC Lead and MYSG Country Media Lead. Before that, he spent eight years as the Media & Digital Hub Lead in Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos.
His first position with Unilever was in 2010 when he worked as the Head of Media at Unilever Pakistan in Karachi.
With these experiences under his belt, Javed is a result-oriented Marketing & Media Professional with 21+ years of experience leading customer-centric initiatives and launching top-tier brand campaigns that build and reinforce brand images.
Javed used several media channels to reach consumers in FMCG, Telecom, and Media, where he designed solutions that increase efficiency and scalability.
He has led multimillion-dollar transformation projects and campaigns from start to finish, using data to drive marketing solutions and is a detail-oriented Team Leader that excels in finding profitable possibilities, solving process inefficiencies, and creating value-added solutions.
Javed was elected as the Vice President of the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA) at its Annual General Meeting in 2022.
After spending a considerable time with Unilever Malaysia, Javed has decided to make a change and take up the position of the Media, Data, and Digital Lead at Unilever Pakistan, where he first started his career 13 years ago.
