Lee Poh Li Joins Rapp as Managing Director for Malaysia

RAPP, a global, data-driven creative community that builds direct, meaningful and high-value relationships between brands and people, today announces the appointment of Lee Poh Li as Managing Director of its office in Malaysia.

Prior to joining RAPP, she served as General Manager of M&C Saatchi Malaysia for a decade, where she grew the agency’s digital and social business as well as played an integral role in leading the brand relationship for their largest client, Celcom.

She then moved on to Leo Burnett, as Client Partner for the Maxis account, where she steered the team towards further strengthening the agency-client relationship.

A creative at heart, Poh Li has, over the course of her career, gained a unique 360° view on brands and marketing. As part of her new role at RAPP, she has the opportunity to apply her background expertise to help strike the right balance of evolution and leadership, through contributing creative insights and establishing a strong foundation for the organization via overall agency management.

“I believe in having a partnership mindset more than anything else, be it with a client, colleague or boss,” says Poh Li.

“At RAPP, we strive to provide the best customer experience in the market by delivering not only exceptional products and services, but also the best agency-client partnership experience across our portfolio.”

MARKETING Magazine is not responsible for the content of external sites.

After 20 years of evolving technology, shifting market trends, and adapting to changing consumer behaviour, the media landscape has nearly reached saturation.

We’ve optimised to the fullest, providing advertisers with abundant choices across technology, platforms, data-driven marketing, CTV, OTTDOOHinfluencer marketing, retail, etc.

Media specialists have diversified, but with more options comes the challenge of maintaining income growth. The industry is expanding, but revenue isn’t keeping pace.

Now, we’re at a TURNING POINT: time to explore and harness new sustainable revenue streams. While GroupM forecasts a 7.8% global ad revenue growth in 2024, challenges like antitrust regulation, AI and copyright issues, and platform bans persist.

Collaboration is keypartnerships that thrive on synergy, shared values, and aligned goals are becoming increasingly essential.

Hence, the Malaysian Media Conference, in its 20th year, has assembled the partners and players under one roof on October 25 for a day of learning, sharing, and exploring.
