Woon Hoh has stepped down from his role as Regional Chief Creative Officer of Hakuhodo after 17 years. Woon joined Hakuhodo in Indonesia early in his career, eventually becoming in-charge of overseeing the agency’s ASEAN markets including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Known for devoting his time to young talent, along with nurturing and building teams across Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore to deliver superior creative output and cutting edge thinking. During his time there, he worked with major clients such as Toyota and Biore.

Under Woon’s leadership at Hakuhodo, the agency had been consistently ranked among the top three in Indonesia, including the title of ‘Agency of the Year’ for a fourth time. During his time with Hakuhodo, Woon has won various major local and international accolades, including Best of Show and multiple Gold awards at the One Show, New York Festivals, London International Awards, CLIO, AWARD, Citra Pariwara, Kancils, Longxi Award, Bangkok Art Directors’ Club, AdFest, Spikes Asia and Cannes.

A well-respected creative leader across the region, Woon has judged at various global and regional awards shows as well. Most recently, he was the Jury President of Direct and Promo at AdFest 2017.

Woon has worked at some of the best network agencies across Asia, a list that boasts names like Darcy, BBDO, McCann and JWT. He graduated from the Graphic Design School of Fine Arts, San Francisco, USA in 1992.
