Astro Media Solutions commended as Gold award winner at APPIES Malaysia 2022 for their work with Gerbang Alaf Restaurants Sdn Bhd under the category of Digital & Social.

Their campaign titled “McDonald’s Entertains Malaysians With Virtual Rock Concert For McD’s Rockin’ BBQ Burger Launch” managed to showcase their profound knowledge on digital & social matters that led them to the Gold winning award.

The main initiative of the campaign was to promote their newest product which is Rockin’ BBQ Beef and Chicken Burgers that is believed to rock your taste buds.

When the pandemic stroked, Malaysians were deprived of entertainment, including concerts, gatherings and dining in McDonald’s restaurants for the past 2
years.

Therefore, along with the launch of their new product, Malaysians were given the chance to watch a virtual rock concert on Astro.
