(marketingmagazine.com.my) – Proton ends the year with the launch of Proton Ertiga, the latest compact MPV addition in the country’s auto scene.

The new Proton Ertiga is said to be Malaysia’s 1st Compact MPV Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV). The car is based on the Suzuki model by the same name and is the first model introduced through Proton’s collaboration with Japan’s Suzuki Motor Corporation.

At the launch, Proton CEO Datuk Ahmad Fuaad Kenali said the Ertiga was built to cater to the changing modern family lifestyle, adding that the Ertiga was refined and had “commendable drivability and significantly quieter noise, vibration and harshness level”.

The company launched an online movie to promote the new Ertiga. The beginning of the movie picks off where its Proton Persona promotional movie left off, with popular local actors Fazura and Zul Ariffin scheming to get out of jail.

Viewers are once again taken through a high octane car chase which highlights Proton Ertiga’s key features. Throughout the movie, we are led to believe that once again the main stars of the movie are Fazura & Zul however the ad’s family friendly twist is revealed towards the end.

Collaboration is keypartnerships that thrive on synergy, shared values, and aligned goals are becoming increasingly essential.
