VITAGEN receives Putra Brand Icon Award for winning Gold 4 years in a row

VITAGEN has firmly established its position as the nation’s favourite cultured milk drink once again with its 4th consecutive Gold for the Beverage – Dairy Category at the recent Putra Brand Awards 2018.

The four-year win has earned VITAGEN an additional Putra Brand Icon award.

“We are pleased to be awarded two significant wins under the People’s Choice award. This win further spurs our determination to work harder for all who believe in our brand,” expressed General Manager of VITAGEN, Mr Poh Eng Lip.

A local landmark research conducted by Pusat Perubatan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (PPUKM) revealed that the Lactobacillus acidophilus and Lactobacillus paracasei probiotic strains in VITAGEN have a positive effect on digestive health and immune system.

The results distinctly demonstrate the efficacy of probiotics contained in VITAGEN for digestive health. 96% of respondents had significant improvement in constipation symptoms and 73% of respondents with irritable bowel syndrome benefited from enhanced immunity over a 30-day course.

“An unbalanced gut can lead to a compromised immune system. Many don’t realise that our digestive tract and immune system work hand-in-hand. Knowing how to take care of your gut will help improve many health complications,” added Poh.

VITAGEN has cultivated strong efforts to promote gut health education to Malaysians through on-ground activities nationwide since 2016.

According to Yap Jay Queen, Marketing Manager of VITAGEN, “2019 will be an exciting year for us.

“As part of our brand strategy, we aim to uncover supplementary findings to further illustrate that our gut is truly the cornerstone of good health through more initiatives involving the general public.”

Commenting further on the win, Poh said, “VITAGEN turned 40 last year and we hope to spearhead this category with more findings and digestive health activities for the next 40 years and beyond.”
