Prudential Astro Masters 2017 Celebrates 20 Years of Golfing Excellence

 

 

Prudential Astro Masters (PAM) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, making it the longest and most successful national amateur golf series in the country.  Launched to find the best amateur golfer in Malaysia, PAM will feature even more attractive prizes to entice the expected 2,200 golfers who will be playing in 19 qualifying rounds across Malaysia. Joining as the event’s title sponsor is Prudential and several other international brands.

P. Jeganathan, Organising Chairman of PAM said, “Previously, we held the PAM Grand Finals in Cambodia, Thailand and Bali. For the first time, winners from the qualifying legs will be rewarded with a Grand Final outside Asia. They will get to play the Grand Final in Muscat, Oman, at the Muscat Hills Golf Club and the links-styled Al Mouj Golf Club. This 20th anniversary of PAM is also more rewarding, with all four Par 3s offering prizes, a first for PAM.”

No stranger to the event having sponsored the event for nine years, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad, Gan Leong Hin shared,

The National Final and Grand Final of PAM 2017 will have its highlights broadcasted on two channels, namely Astro Arena and Astro SuperSport 3 HD.
