Didi Pirinyuang is resigning from her position as executive creative director at Ensemble global Malaysia. Pirinyuang was a founding member of both Ensemble and UM Studios. She has been with the organisation since 2017.
Prior to joining GOVT, Pirinyuang served from 2010 to 2014 as senior copywriter and creative group head. When the team was initially formed, she stated that the objective was to test new limits.
The team ushered in its first new era of creativity by creating agile, data-driven, technology-aware brand narratives.
In 2020, Pirinyuang assumed the position of ECD to replace Chan Woei Hern, who joined VMLY&R Commerce.
Chan joined Vayner Media as its new head of creative for the APAC region, after VJ Anand, who recently assumed a global and EMEA creative role based at the agency’s London headquarters.
Amit Sutha, CEO of Universal McCann (UM), UM Studios, and Ensemble Worldwide, stated, “Didi is part of the founding team at Ensemble and UM Studios and has been with us for close to seven years, playing a crucial role in bringing contextual data and new-age technology to our narrative core.”
Didi was employee number 13, and as our team grew to 100 members, she has been at the centre of our growth adventure.
Amit went on to say that Didi is a real storyteller of the new era, and with her at the head, he is convinced that the spirit of unicorn disruption will continue to inspire and drive the team in their daily work.
Didi was Creative Group Head at Naga DDB before joining GOVT KL (rebranded as The Clan).
She joined the Ensemble Worldwide team in 2018 as Associate Creative Director and was promoted to Creative Director in 2019.
In 2020’s 40 under 40 list, she was chosen as one of Campaign Asia’s top-growing young marketing and communications professionals in Asia-Pacific.
She also was one of the judges for the Young Spikes Malaysia 2022 competitions.
