Etika and Sime Darby Property have come forward as sponsors for two of the five categories that are part of the Young Spikes Malaysia 2022 segment of the larger Young Spikes Asia competition for younger members of the creative fraternity at large, specifically those aged 30 years or younger (born on or before 23 June 1992).
Etika, as sponsor for the Media category will provide the relevant brief while Sime Darby Property will do the same for the marketers category.
With five categories in all, the three categories left are Digital, Integrated and Public Relations – just waiting for the right brand to come along and provide the necessary impetus in the form of a challenging brief to get those creative juices flowing.
For those brands looking to find ‘the next big thing’ in the marketing universe, what could be greater than this opportunity to not only set a challenge tailored to your brand’s specifics but also the possibility of your sponsored team creating the winning campaign?
As in previous iterations, Young Spikes Malaysia 2022 will again see the sponsoring brands putting forward a brief that will give the two-member teams just 24 hours, except the Integrated category which gets 48 hours, to create a campaign and present that as a competition brief and submit a PDF version to the organiser.
The teams winning Gold will represent Malaysia at the Young Spikes Asia competition in Singapore from 28th February to 1st March 2023.
