Publicis Groupe Malaysia’s latest appointment, Abraham Varughese, as its Chief Creative Officer is a major appointment. Hailing from Dubai, Abraham will be responsible for managing the creative talent and expertise in the Groupe’s operations. This includes overseeing creative work at Leo Burnett, Publicis Worldwide, Digitas, Publicis Emil, Saatchi & Saatchi Arachnid, and Alpha 245.
Indeed, Abraham will be working on delivering ‘The Power of One’ for some of the world’s most ambitious and forward-thinking brands.
Of course, Abraham’s primary responsibility in this new role is to transform the Groupe’s creative firepower across its various brands. For Tan Kien Eng, CEO of Publicis Groupe Malaysia, getting the new CCO is a strong move. “His rich experience across different markets is an asset for us. What he’ll be doing will enable clients to scale fast, all with the power of data and technology,” he shared.
As for Abraham, he is thrilled to be in Malaysia and is keen to quickly get on the ground. “It’s an incredible opportunity to work with so many talented teams across Publicis Groupe. Indeed, it’s a great time to bring together data, technology, and creativity to offer innovative solutions to our clients,” he added.
Prior to his time at Bates Dubai, Abraham has been with Leo Burnett Dubai. He is also a multi-award winner for Cannes Lions and Clio Awards.
