Mediabrands AOR for TNB’s creative, media and digital

IPG Mediabrands,has been appointed by Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) as its new creative, media planning and buying and digital agency on record (AOR).
Led by Ansible, IPG Mediabrands’ mobile and technology arm, and Society, its content marketing and social media agency, the contract started in October for six months.
The appointment will see these agencies work alongside IPG Mediabrands’ full-service media agency BPN on media planning and buying to provide integrated offerings and solutions for TNB.
The appointment allows greater collaboration for Mediabrands agencies (team picture) to inject its own brand of innovation and creativity to elevate the TNB brand across all mediums and across different segments of their target audience.
Manu Menon, Managing Director of Ansible commented, “The synergy between creative, media and digital expertise that we have to offer will put us in good stead to grow the TNB brand in the market. On a personal note, being the son of a former TNB staff, I am very proud to be working on this business and contributing to its future growth.”

The APPIES is an annual event that presents a rare opportunity for creative, media, digital and marketing agencies or brands to present their best campaigns to the industry.

This is the only event where Live Presentations meets Live Judging.

Similar to TED Talks, The APPIES is the chance for great presenters with outstanding work to show it off to some of the industry’s most important industry leaders.

This year’s winners will receive Gold, Silver or Bronze trophies for 21 categories, and 6 special Best of Best categories (red trophies) that require no submissions!

Campaign entries must have run between June 2023 to May 2024
