The WeR1 group, with offices in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong handling boutique PR and investor relations services, has named Justin Then as Managing Director and equity partner of its Malaysian operations, WeR1 Communications Sdn. Bhd.
A notable PR practitioner, Justin was previously Managing Director at Hill+Knowlton Strategies Malaysia, where he headed up the local operations of the global PR firm for over three years. He was credited with delivering consistent growth and profitability during his tenure, as well as enhancing the company’s portfolio of clients.
Justine was instrumental in securing accounts and providing senior counsel to C-level executives from diverse sectors including oil and gas, quick service restaurants, technology and financial services at Hill+Knowlton.
Prior to that, he led the Technology Practice at Priority Communications Sdn. Bhd. where he oversaw various accounts including Dell, Intel, Microsoft, Hitachi Data Systems, and Alcatel Lucent.
