IPG makes Malaysia proud in Rome

(Marketingmagazine.com.my) – IPG Mediabrands Malaysia took home 4 awards at the Festival of Media Global (FOMG) 2016, held in Rome, Italy. The agency was the only Malaysia agency who won at the awards.

The agency bagged 1 Gold and 3 Bronze in solely digital medium categories, for their work in video, programmatic and mobile, the awards were won primarily by their media agency UM Malaysia and their creative agency, Ensemble Worldwide.

• Gold – Best Use of Video, campaign ‘How we used programmatic to develop video content and reach Millennials, resulting in the best performing KFC burger in ages’ for KFC 

• Bronze- Best Use of Video, ‘How Telekom Malaysia gamified a TV ad to help those in need’ Telekom Malaysia.

• Bronze- Best Use of Programmatic Technology, campaign titled ‘How KFC engaged Malaysia’s “skip generation” using programmatic technology’ for KFC

• Bronze- Best Insight Award, ‘How a telco used children’s voices to engage people and save lives’ for Maxis.

UM Malaysia Managing Director Amit Sutha commented on the win saying, 

“Each of the winning cases displayd a flavor of what the future of advertising could be like, where we move beyond the singular, inspirational moment into advertising personalization and executions that happen at the speed of expectation.”

IPG Mediabrands Malaysia recently swept three gold, a silver and the best presenter award at last week’s APPIES Malaysia.
