Geometry, WPP’s end-to-end Creative Commerce agency, has appointed Gaurav Arora to be General Manager in Indonesia. Gaurav is tasked to continue leading growth with a focus on change and transformation.
Based in Jakarta, he will report to Kenni Loh, CEO of Geometry
Malaysia. Gaurav has spent his career focused on leading data-driven, digital-focused initiatives to fuel business growth. Experienced in the entire South East Asia, India and China, he has helped a range of local, regional and global clients in both fast-growing and sophisticated digital markets.

Commenting on the appointment, Kenni said “Gaurav has a proven record in leading organisations through periods of change and transformation. In Indonesia we have demonstrated best-in-class activation services and Gaurav will transform the team into a pioneering agency that delivers solutions across all the channels and mediums where people are engaging with brands. I am confident that his wealth of digital and social experience will strengthen the seamless integration of online and offline. This is how we realize our vision of end to end, blending data and human insights to find the moments that matter and convert them into growth opportunities for our clients.”
Jesse Lin, CEO of Geometry APAC, said that Gaurav brings a great combination of experience and passion to the role. “We are focused on strengthening leadership and our offering across the region, to meet our clients’ needs as they are increasingly looking to drive growth at speed. At a time like this it’s a great pleasure to welcome Gaurav to the Geometry family.
“I believe under his leadership our Indonesia team will continue to deliver pioneering and brave work that thinks differently about our clients’ challenges, ultimately benefiting the whole region. I also want to thank David who contributed greatly to our clients’ success and left a very positive impression on the team, not only in Indonesia but also across the region. He worked closely with WPP as well, helping to raise Geometry’s profile within the organization. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
Gaurav commented, “I am thrilled to join Geometry which is at the forefront of reimagining commerce. Today’s clients are looking for agency partners that know how to drive conversion and I believe Geometry’s focuson creative commerce brings success to the agency and client alike. I look forward to driving that success in Indonesia, which plays a key role in the region with its huge consumer market, high level of urbanization and fast-increasing per capita income”.

After 20 years of evolving technology, shifting market trends, and adapting to changing consumer behaviour, the media landscape has nearly reached saturation.
We’ve optimised to the fullest, providing advertisers with abundant choices across technology, platforms, data-driven marketing, CTV, OTT, DOOH, influencer marketing, retail, etc.
Media specialists have diversified, but with more options comes the challenge of maintaining income growth. The industry is expanding, but revenue isn’t keeping pace.
Now, we’re at a TURNING POINT: time to explore and harness new sustainable revenue streams. While GroupM forecasts a 7.8% global ad revenue growth in 2024, challenges like antitrust regulation, AI and copyright issues, and platform bans persist.
Collaboration is key: partnerships that thrive on synergy, shared values, and aligned goals are becoming increasingly essential.
Hence, the Malaysian Media Conference, in its 20th year, has assembled the partners and players under one roof on October 25 for a day of learning, sharing, and exploring.
