Entropia Blanc appoints John Dorai as Head of Creative

Blanc, Entropia’s creative and content division, has brought on board hybrid Malaysian creative leader, John Dorai, as its head of creative to conceptualise and execute campaign and brand work for its versatile client roster.   

Bringing two decades of experience across the length and breadth of creative with a hybrid profile of Art and Copy, John is tasked with delivering innovative 360 marketing solutions that bring together storytelling and technology.

Leading from the front, he will apply creative strategic thinking, combined with classic craft knowledge to elevate creative output to the next level for Entropia’s client partners.

Prior to his appointment at Entropia, John was the Executive Creative Director at ADK Malaysia and Creative Director at Hakuhodo Malaysia, where his teams elevated the brand to Malaysia’s Agency of the Year at the 2018 Kancil Awards; with previous stints at Y&R Malaysia, J Walter Thompson, Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB, FCB, BBDO, and more.

Some of his most notable campaigns have been awarded at local, regional and international award shows, including several Kancil Awards; Silver and Bronze Effies; DDB’s Regional Pinnacle Award; Gold, Silver and Bronze Adfest Awards; Silver and Bronze Cannes Lions; as well as D&AD and New York Festival honours.

This is the only event where Live Presentations meets Live Judging.

Similar to TED Talks, The APPIES is the chance for great presenters with outstanding work to show it off to some of the industry’s most important industry leaders.

This year’s winners will receive Gold, Silver or Bronze trophies for 21 categories, and 6 special Best of Best categories (red trophies) that require no submissions!
