BBDO Guerrero’s dissolving bottle strikes again at the recent Design Week Awards and New York Festivals Advertising Awards

BBDO Guerrero continues to collect industry accolades, with the recent event of the UK Design Awards and New York Festivals Advertising Awards 2022 for its reimagining of shampoo packaging with their “The Dissolving Bottle” campaign.

Since its launch, the work has collected a total of 28 awards from several shows, including a Gold at AdFest earlier this year and a wood pencil from D&AD.

The campaign won the Design, Climate, Action: Designing Sustainably category at the 2022 Design Week Awards and was praised by the judges as “super creative and avoids plastic. Helps consumers understand the product with a very neat solution.” BBDO Guerrero was also the only Filipino agency to receive recognition at the awards.

At the most recent New York Festivals Advertising Awards under the Package & Product Design: Best Use Category, the campaign won a bronze award for Best New Green Package Design.

“We are very proud that the Dissolving Bottle, a Filipino campaign, was recognized by the UK Design Awards and the New York Festivals Advertising Awards, for its simple and innovative role in promoting sustainability. It’s definitely a great boost in helping us make more people aware of alternatives to a greener and less plastic-dependent future,” says BBDO Guerrero’s Creative Chairman, David Guerrero.

Design Week is a UK-based digital publication that caters to the design and creative industry founded in 1986. The New York Festivals Advertising Awards is an international competition that awards excellence in execution, craft and creativity since 1957.

Now, we’re at a TURNING POINT: time to explore and harness new sustainable revenue streams. While GroupM forecasts a 7.8% global ad revenue growth in 2024, challenges like antitrust regulation, AI and copyright issues, and platform bans persist.

Collaboration is keypartnerships that thrive on synergy, shared values, and aligned goals are becoming increasingly essential.

Hence, the Malaysian Media Conference, in its 20th year, has assembled the partners and players under one roof on October 25 for a day of learning, sharing, and exploring.
