Astro and CJ E&M bring exclusive Korean movie experience to Malaysian Fans

Malaysian fans of Korean entertainment are in for a real treat as Astro and leading Korean media & entertainment conglomerate CJ E&M indulge followers with tvN Movies – the world’s first and only Korean blockbuster movie channel. 

Beginning August 1, viewers will have access to tvN on demand via Astro GO and Astro TV Channel 435 with its first featuring exclusive Korean titles. 

With over 20 first-run Korean movies premiering exclusively in Malaysia, tvN Movies’ will give viewers an array of Korean films to choose from its diverse movies library, paired with English, Simplified Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia subtitles.

As an added bonus and in line with its launch on Astro, tvN will collaborate with movie distributors Clover Films and GSC Movies Sdn Bhd to bring  The Battleship Island Star Tour in Malaysia. 

Best Actor Hwang Jung-min, heartthrobs So Ji-sub, Song Joong-ki and director Ryoo Seung-wan are anticipated to meet Malaysian fan and media at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on August 9 as part of the tour.

tvN Movies fans and Astro subscribers will stand a chance to win premiere passes to the Gala Premiere of The Battleship Island and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Hwang Jung-min, So Ji-sub, Song Joong-ki in the flesh.
