Xaxis Launches an Outbound Hub to Help Chinese Brands Expand Overseas

New service offers full programmatic solution for brands in China

Xaxis, the Outcome Media Company, has launched a centralized service for brands based in China to run digital display campaigns overseas.

The new Outbound Hub offers China-based companies a single solution for launching programmatic advertising in foreign markets, using Xaxis’ technology, global media network, and international market presence and expertise. The hub provides audience strategy and planning, multi-market campaign operations and optimization, as well as reporting and analytics.

Xaxis is part of GroupM, the media services arm of WPP, which said the new service has been launched to help Chinese companies promote their services overseas and expand their global footprint.

“Chinese brands running overseas campaigns face formidable challenges, “said Patrick Xu, CEO of GroupM China and WPP China. “It is not easy to have an in-depth understanding of different media ecosystems in overseas markets or the media and data policies effective in different regions, not to mention cultural and language barriers, and time-zone differences.

“The Outbound Hub is aimed directly at these pain points. Our goal is to provide one-stop programmatic solutions for Chinese brands that bring great value to our clients. We are looking forward to working with more Chinese brands, to help them build bridges to global consumers and expand into global markets.”

Nicolas Bidon, the global CEO of Xaxis, added: “As more and more Chinese brands look at international markets to accelerate their growth, we are delighted to launch the Outbound Hub to bring them the wealth of talent, data and technology at the core of Xaxis. I have no doubt that our mastery of programmatic advertising in 47 countries will help Chinese brands achieve even greater success abroad.”

Xaxis China has developed rapidly since it was founded in 2012, serving hundreds of advertisers, covering FMCG, auto, luxury, travel and hospitality, aviation and a range of other categories.

Arshan Saha, president of Xaxis Asia Pacific, commented: “As China continues to lead and transform into the largest technology hub globally, we at Xaxis are fully invested to strengthen our lead in the programmatic space with continued innovation and even greater accountability with our outcome media proposition for our clients.”
