Momentro, which has been in the APAC region for over four years, reaches the milestone of two years of operations in Malaysia, and reaffirms its commitment to further invest and build human capital in the country.
Furthermore, in line with its plans to empower marketers and brands in the APAC region, Momentro also acquired complete ownership of the highly successful Sri Lankan marketing services company Enfection, and is now ready to introduce these services to Malaysia.
Momentro was founded by Saliya Withana and Lahiru Halkewela, with the aim of bridging the gap between marketers and technology.
The onus being the continuous improvement of marketing funnels of brands in the APAC region; as conversion specialists that place emphasis on lean testing micro-moments through behavioural economic principles and various data driven insights.
The company believes in being part of the marketing ecosystem and supporting upstream and downstream marketing partners. “Working together with global partners such as McCann, Dentsu, Weber Shandwick, and Allison+Partners amongst others, has been an essential part of our growth strategy and will continue to be at the core of our operations as we believe in nurturing a collaborative ecosystem and becoming an API for partner growth,” explained Saliya Withana, Founder/CEO of Momentro.
With the consolidation of marketing services through Enfection and reputation management through their most recent venture, Enfluence where they provide specialised services in social listening and brand response strategy, as well as bringing together Momentro’s core in MarTech, they offer robust offerings to brands and partners alike.
“With our MarTech team we have developed solutions that are currently being used in over 14 countries in Asia”, said Lahiru Halkewela, Head of Operations.
Momentro is a trailblazer having ventured on a path that no one has done before. They have offered a novel approach to niche marketing verticals such as technology marketing, oil and gas marketing and pharma marketing through strategies such as proxy marketing and micro moment focused account-based marketing amongst many others.
As Shezri Junaid, Head of Group Account Management explained further, “We have had the opportunity to partner with multiple ad networks in Malaysia as well as Singapore and together develop innovative digital strategies for brands that unlocked new market opportunities that may have previously been unnoticed.”
This has enabled Momentro to improve the funnels and objectives of certain enterprise and Fortune 500 organisations such as Honeywell, Zuellig Pharma, MSD, Petronas, Novartis, Booking.com and Kohler.
“We have been working with multiple global clients from pharma to manufacturing to oil & gas industries and have been part of their journey by providing them end to end digital marketing solutions from social media strategies to target market analysis, paid media segmentation in order to meet their business objectives and KPIs,” explained Shahrana Fazal, Lead, Account Management, APAC.
Momentro together with their partner McCann Erickson Malaysia were Highly Commended at the recent Drum Awards for the novel campaign they completed for Petronas upstream.
Furthermore, they also won a PRCA SEA 2021 Award for Employee Engagement’ together with Allison+Partners for the work done for LAM Research, a US-based global supplier of wafer fabrication equipment and related services to the semiconductor industry.
Learning and knowledge sharing is inherent to their organizational culture. Therefore, they have conducted many trainings and knowledge-sharing sessions for their partners and clients as well.
