MCCANN WORLDGROUP ASIA PACIFIC ANNOUNCES NEW REGIONAL CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER

McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific has today announced the joining of a new regional Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Shilpa Sinha, who has moved to Singapore from Europe, where for the past several years she’s worked for top agencies and brands. She takes the reins from Richard McCabe, who is relocating to Europe to be closer to his family.

Shilpa is an experienced global marketer and strategist with a strong track record working in major markets including India, UK, China and Russia, for agencies including Grey, FCB and Ogilvy. She served as Head of Strategy & Transformation for McCann Moscow before the agency closed its operations in Russia in 2022.

Shilpa has also held a unique combination of senior roles in brand management at Unilever and strategic planning leadership at prominent agency networks (IPG & WPP) and has rich experience in building leader and challenger brands across diverse categories: beauty and personal care (Unilever, P&G, Beiersdorf, L’Oreal), foods and beverages (Mondelez, Coca-Cola, Nestle), luxury automotive (Lincoln/BMW/MINI/Volvo), telecom, financial services, retail and entertainment.

Shilpa is a champion of effectiveness and creativity (including winning the first ever Gold Cannes Lion for any IPG agency in Russia) and is a recognised strategic leader in the industry, with a significant Effie jury experience.
