McCann NEXT is collaborating with Asia School of Business (ASB) to mould future digital leaders.
McCann NEXT is working together with Kuala Lumpur’s new global graduate business school, Asia School of Business to come up with a two and a half months course in Digital Marketing.
This Digital Marketing course will be a a follow-up to the Marketing Management course at the business school. The business school is established by Bank Negara Malaysia in collaboration with MIT Sloan School of Management.
“At ASB, we believe that great ideas seldom come from a single brilliant mind. More often, it is when like-minded partners collaborate, innovation happens,” said Willem Smit, Professor of Marketing at the Asia School of Business and International Faculty Fellow at MIT.
“This collaboration is a testimony of our conviction to work together in unique ways towards a common goal: advancing the practice of digital marketing in South East Asia, ” added Smit.
Students undertaking the course will follow the Mens et Manus or “Mind and Hand” mantra of the school. Students will perform six essential hacks to formulate and execute a Digital Marketing strategy in the spirit of learning by doing.
They will go through three different steps that are similar to Google’s Online Marketing Challenge – Formulate, Execute and Evaluate.
In order to engage students in learning, organizations will be present in the ASB MBA classroom and work with the students closely on real life case studies. A seasoned specialist from the industry will guide the students and share expertise and experience from the industry.
McCann NEXT will also be their very own proprietary PXL course material to ensure students learn and practice specific digital languages.
