Malaysia’s leading employment platform JobStreet by SEEK, in collaboration with AIC Exhibitions Sdn Bhd, will be hosting the Malaysia Career & Training Fair (MCTF) 2023 on 18 and 19 February 2023 at the Midvalley Exhibition Centre (MVEC), Kuala Lumpur.
Aimed at enabling jobseekers to better connect with companies for better job opportunities, over 170 reputable companies with 10,000 jobs opening will be present at the event.
It will be the first of two such fairs this year, with the second one happening later in September.
Leveraging on 25 years of experience in the career industry – JobStreet has been co-organising the event with AIC since 2008 – the MCTF continues the rich tradition of serving as a one-stop hub for jobseekers to meet and network with both local and international companies under one roof.
Thousands of jobs will be available during the two-day career fair with top employers participating from various industries. They include notable names such as Nestle, CIMB, Maybank, Genting, Experian, Mah Sing, Indah Water, DKSH, Carlsberg and Proton.
JobStreet Malaysia Managing Director Vic Sithasanan said that, given the improving employment landscape post-pandemic, the MCTF is set to be a huge success and forms part of the company’s nation-building efforts to further elevate Malaysia’s competitiveness.
“Apart from meeting recruiters and getting interviews, attendees can also look forward to various engagement talk and career consultation sessions coupled with reskilling and upskilling initiatives,” he said.
“JobStreet’s goal for this event is to encourage jobseekers to reignite their passion or to look for better opportunities to rebuild themselves and their careers. We also encourage jobseekers to join and submit their applications to as many companies as they find suitable during the – event, thus increasing their options and chances of getting hired.”
What’s more, well-known local guest speakers from HR consultants to entrepreneurs will be sharing their tips and insights to inspire the next generation of talents on selected dates and times.
Meanwhile, AIC Exhibitions managing director Datuk William Ng, MCTF Organising Chairman said: “We are glad to host the MCTF once again with JobStreet, especially in this timely manner to connect jobseekers with thousands of jobs available from top employers, both local and international.”
“At MCTF 2023, there will be multiple job opportunities as top companies are still looking for talents to fill key positions. We have gathered some of the best companies for MCTF this year; so jobseekers, this is your chance to find jobs that really matter to you,” Ng added.
Last year, the MCTF welcomed more than forty five thousand participants, and the number is expected to increase substantially this year.

After 20 years of evolving technology, shifting market trends, and adapting to changing consumer behaviour, the media landscape has nearly reached saturation.
We’ve optimised to the fullest, providing advertisers with abundant choices across technology, platforms, data-driven marketing, CTV, OTT, DOOH, influencer marketing, retail, etc.
Media specialists have diversified, but with more options comes the challenge of maintaining income growth. The industry is expanding, but revenue isn’t keeping pace.
Now, we’re at a TURNING POINT: time to explore and harness new sustainable revenue streams. While GroupM forecasts a 7.8% global ad revenue growth in 2024, challenges like antitrust regulation, AI and copyright issues, and platform bans persist.
Collaboration is key: partnerships that thrive on synergy, shared values, and aligned goals are becoming increasingly essential.
Hence, the Malaysian Media Conference, in its 20th year, has assembled the partners and players under one roof on October 25 for a day of learning, sharing, and exploring.
