Following the launch of DENTSU CREATIVE at Cannes Lions in June 2022, DENTSU CREATIVE is launching in Malaysia with the brands DentsuMB, DentsuLHS & Isobar being sunsetted.
DENTSU CREATIVE Malaysia will continue to be led by Kunal Roy, Chief Executive Officer for Creative Brands with the support of dentsu International’s Global Chief Creative Officer, Fred Levron.
In uniting its global creative agencies, including dentsuMB, 360i, Isobar and Dentsu-branded creative agencies, DENTSU CREATIVE will deliver a wider and seamless client experience with unparalleled access to modern capabilities in Entertainment, Experience and Earned Attention.
Creativity will sit at the heart of dentsu International’s proposition, uniting DENTSU CREATIVE’s 9,000 employees with its team of 37,000 Media and CXM experts working across the businesses globally, as dentsu International looks to become the most integrated network in the World.
DENTSU CREATIVE is united by a creative vision to transform brands and business through the power of Modern Creativity, to deliver ideas that creates, not borrow from, culture, ideas that changes society, accelerating growth from good, and invent the future, with ideas made possible by technology, made personal by data, made magical through emotion.
A striking visual identity and employee brand has been crafted as an expression of East meets West, taking inspiration from Japanese culture, design, fashion and technology, and a signal of the network’s dedication to craft and the transformative power of creativity for businesses and brands.
Drawing on Japan’s rich history of mythological creatures, four traditional cultural icons have been brought to life to represent DENTSU CREATIVE’s superpowers and values.
Following its global launch DENTSU CREATIVE has already seen award success, notably being named Cannes Lions 2022 Agency of the Year and collected Titanium, three Grand Prix, one Gold, three Silver and three Bronze Lions for its ‘The Unfiltered History Tour’ campaign for VICE Media.
With the launch of DENTSU CREATIVE in Malaysia, the agency will continue to build its momentum of growth following its recent successful wins like AEON Credit Service, Jack n Jill’s Calbee and Roller Coaster, Malaysia Health Travel Council, Bank Negara and the social media remits for The Estee Lauder Companies & Hong Leong Bank among many others.
In the months leading to this momentous launch, the company has invested in quite a few highly experienced and award-winning talent. To supercharge their existing creative bench, they recently brought onboard creative leaders like Alicia Hew and Sid Nair.
The highly experienced Malaysian veteran Ken Chin took on the role of Client Partner & Head of Operations earlier this year & Rishu Verma came onboard to head some of the business’ key accounts.
In a slew of recent strategic hires Nicholas Corneilius joined to lead the Social Media division, Moiz Rangoonwala to head Strategic Planning and Agata Bas for Creative Experience & Commerce.
