Chayenne Tan, the Director of Performance Marketing at CIMB (Malaysia) is the winner of the Gold award for ‘Best Marketer in Influencer Marketing‘ at the Malaysian CMO Awards 2021. Chayenne had previously won the Gold award for ‘Best Marketer in Data & Tech Marketing’.
Chayenne is a hybrid growth and performance driven marketer who thrives in connecting the dots of data, tech, design as well as content. She is a champion for integrated marketing and digital transformation.
Chayenne is also a Digital Guru Ambassador alumni of Google Malaysia and besides being awarded for being the Best Marketer in Data & Technology, Best Marketer in Influencer Marketing as well as for Best Use of Public Relations, she has also won 3 Golds and 1 Silver for Marketing Excellence at the Dragons of Malaysia & Asia Awards.
Super stoked on receiving her second CMO Award, the all-smiles Chayenne said in her remarks to MARKETING Magazine, “The fact that we have 3 Gold winners for this category this year, goes to show how influencer marketing has become an integral part of engaging consumers in a more personal and relatable manner.”
Prior to joining CIMB, Chayenne was the Head of Strategic Planning & Brand Management at an integrated marketing agency, where she worked with big brands like Nestlé, Adidas, Tefal, Goodyear, Unilever and HTC.
In the past, she had also worked in an international NGO, Deloitte and Siemens. Chayenne believes in authenticity, doing the right thing and being a force for change.
When Chayenne isn’t busy with growth hacking, she enjoys hanging out with her plants and being the super mom to her sons, or tuning into Clubhouse rooms in search of inspiration.
