The Ministry of Multimedia & Communications released a Deepavali video for 2019 and it took a quirky take on the polarising perspective of how technology disrupts daily life.

Tackling the all too familiar issue of teenagers spending more time on the phone than their elders want them to, the Ministry under YB Gobind Singh Deo display accepting technology as a complementary tool to this festive season.

Aptly taglined, “Setiap cahaya, ada keistimewaannya sendiri. Kita pun akan bersinar apabila kita bersatu.” (Each light has its unique value, we will also shine when we come together”).
