PROTON announced the appointment of GrowthOps (formerly APD Malaysia) as their new Creative Agency of Record. The win follows a 1-month pitch process that saw GrowthOps go up against three other agencies.
The announcement marks the growth of a relationship that begun four years ago for website development and maintenance, and social media management.
While social media has changed hands, GrowthOps managed to grow their relationship with PROTON and now heads PROTON’s creative, digital and website marketing, with plans to help PROTON grow their business even further through campaigns and growth planning.
Commenting on the relationship, the Account Director at GrowthOps, Hasbidin Hassan, said, “We are looking forward to nurturing a better relationship across the different departments in PROTON to help the brand deliver more integrated work in the future.”
“As our name suggests, we are an agency who are geared towards growth, for ourselves and our clients. Our partnership is especially apt as PROTON enters a new era for growth” said Nisha Devina Roy, Head of Growth Strategy and Content at GrowthOps.
Headquartered in Australia, GrowthOps was formed in March 2018 from the merger of eight independent technology, advertising, strategy, marketing, and people businesses across Asia. Locally, they have worked with the likes of Maxis, AIA, Kimberly-Clark, AIG and INCEIF.
