Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels calls for a regional media pitch

Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels has called for a media pitch for its sub-brands which include Malaysia’s most anticipated new tourism development; Desaru, Puteri Harbour Retail Precinct in Iskandar Puteri, that covers SANRIO HELLO KITTY and Thomas Town and KidZania Kuala Lumpur & KidZania Singapore.

Confirming the news to MARKETING Philip Whittaker, Group Chief Marketing Officer, Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels shared that there were four agencies currently pitching for the account which covers its business regionally.

“The selected agency is expected to develop the media and digital strategy to drive brand awareness and that will ultimately bring attendance/footfall to our attractions/destinations.”

The account was previously held by Carat Malaysia and PHD Singapore.

On why the pitch was called Philip shared,

“We are planning to build a strong digital strategy which will require the right agency partner who can ultimately help us transform traditional to digital space, and bring forth creative ideas across various complex channels. Moving forward our approach is to aggressively tap into the digital realm to deepen and broaden the customer experience across our businesses.”
