Knorex Malaysia strengthens its team with the appointment of Stan Chew
Stan Chew has been appointed as the Country Manager of Knorex’s Malaysian office. He will be the driving force for Knorex which is one of the leading ad tech innovation companies in Malaysia.
Stan, a seasoned professional with more than a decade of media experience, will focus on building new and existing client relationships, hiring key talents and driving long term business strategies.
“Knorex is riding at the crest of ad tech innovation and developing uniquely owned solutions that challenge the way marketers and agencies think and operate. I’m excited to join a team that will unlock the constraints of today’s digital marketing landscape,” said Stan.
“To grow and move with the agility that is often lacking in many partnerships, we have to be selective and work with partners that want to speak our language of performance and precision”, added Stan.
Commenting on Stan’s appointment, a spokesperson from Knorex stated, “We are thrilled to welcome Stan to join Knorex. His wealth of knowledge and experience will provide critical insights into the latest trends and industry best practices. His earnest focus on introducing innovation to customers aligns well with Knorex.”
He undertakes the task of enabling marketers and agencies access to performance focused technologies that is proprietary to Knorex.
Stan is no stranger to the industry, having been an active participant at industry events. He is involved in the launch of the upcoming MDA d Awards 2018, organized by the Malaysian Digital Association (MDA).
Hailing from Performics Malaysia, Stan’s last role as the General Manager of Performics was key to launching the group and tripling the size of the team over the past 2 years.

After 20 years of evolving technology, shifting market trends, and adapting to changing consumer behaviour, the media landscape has nearly reached saturation.
We’ve optimised to the fullest, providing advertisers with abundant choices across technology, platforms, data-driven marketing, CTV, OTT, DOOH, influencer marketing, retail, etc.
Media specialists have diversified, but with more options comes the challenge of maintaining income growth. The industry is expanding, but revenue isn’t keeping pace.
Now, we’re at a TURNING POINT: time to explore and harness new sustainable revenue streams. While GroupM forecasts a 7.8% global ad revenue growth in 2024, challenges like antitrust regulation, AI and copyright issues, and platform bans persist.
Collaboration is key: partnerships that thrive on synergy, shared values, and aligned goals are becoming increasingly essential.
Hence, the Malaysian Media Conference, in its 20th year, has assembled the partners and players under one roof on October 25 for a day of learning, sharing, and exploring.
