Digital marketing firm PeoplExperience was launched in Malaysia with the appointment of Karan Tyagi as its CEO, and Naveen Thomas as Director, Digital and Analytics.
The digital marketing consultancy is part of the People ’n Rich – H Group of Companies (PnR), a home grown network with a 31 year track record in the media and advertising business.
Commenting on PnR’s new digital entity, Allan Khoo, Group Managing
Director of People ‘n Rich Holdings said, “It’s timely that we set up this new entity under People ‘n Rich.
Aside from helping all the companies in the group adopt a digital perspective, we are also really excited to have two industry veterans, Karan and Naveen to helm this new operation”.
As its name suggests, PeoplExperience aims to set itself apart with its core agenda of helping marketers enhance the consumer experience journey through the effective use of data and technology.
Karan Tyagi, CEO of PeoplExperience said, “Even with a superior product or brand, you can’t win in today’s ever-evolving, technology-enabled marketplace if you fail to provide a smooth and pleasant consumer experience.”

Marketers ought to know what’s next, and we can help them obtain those insights with the use of data,” added Tyagi, who was formerly General Manager of Carat Malaysia and was a driving force behind a host of new business wins for the agency.
Tyagi has spent 14 years in the media and advertising business, gaining valuable business insights from managing client accounts across a variety of industries, including FMCG, property, alcoholic beverages, financial services, retail, telecommunications, and hotels, just to name a few.
Elaborating on the agency’s operating model, Tyagi shared, “PeoplExperience is envisioned as a boutique digital agency that will ‘keep things simple’ and focus on providing real value to a quality pool of clients.”
Joining forces with Tyagi, Naveen Thomas takes on the role of Director, Digital and Analytics, with a mandate to oversee the firm’s performance and analytics offering.
Prior to this, he was with Dentsu Aegis Network for 8 years, beginning his career in the network’s performance marketing arm, iProspect, before moving up to become Digital Director of Carat Malaysia.
His industry experience includes banking and finance, travel, automotive, and e-commerce.
