For over two decades, Green Packet has been striving to make Malaysians and businesses big and small thrive digitally by making the best of innovations accessible to all.

To celebrate its 20th anniversary of creating life improving digital innovations, Green Packet turned to the strategic minds and storytelling talents of Idealogic and Muma.

We developed a clear framework, a brand narrative and together with the marketing team, we streamlined all the business units to better reflect the brand’s new positioning,” elaborated PiWo Chia, founder of Idealogic.

“Idealogic’s concise strategic direction provided a solid platform for the creative work. Our close partnership with Idealogic has proved effective in delivering good work for our clients,” says Pang Li Li, Business Director of Muma.

Through a 90-second film, a series of digital content and a content hub, Green Packet tells the story of how they have made a difference in the lives of Malaysians over the years.

“As this is the first ever B2C branding campaign for Green Packet, we played with the

visual identity of Green Packet and made it the core of the concept. We used the logo to depict the many windows of possibilities that Green Packet has opened up over the years,” Creative Partner at Muma, Donevan Chew explained.

“Filming restrictions during the Movement Control Order didn’t stop us from creating an interesting visual effect for the film. With the help of Superwonderful Films, every scene was brought to life in a studio with a mix of physical sets and CG,” added Choo Chee Wee, Creative Partner at Muma.

Media specialists have diversified, but with more options comes the challenge of maintaining income growth. The industry is expanding, but revenue isn’t keeping pace.

Now, we’re at a TURNING POINT: time to explore and harness new sustainable revenue streams. While GroupM forecasts a 7.8% global ad revenue growth in 2024, challenges like antitrust regulation, AI and copyright issues, and platform bans persist.

Collaboration is keypartnerships that thrive on synergy, shared values, and aligned goals are becoming increasingly essential.

Hence, the Malaysian Media Conference, in its 20th year, has assembled the partners and players under one roof on October 25 for a day of learning, sharing, and exploring.
