KFC Malaysia Welcomes All to The Table For A Truly Inclusive Raya Celebration

This Raya, KFC Malaysia, in collaboration with its partners Naga DDB Tribal, VML Malaysia and Universal McCann is embracing the true spirit of inclusivity by inviting all Malaysians to the table through a series of festive initiatives. From immersive cultural experiences to acts of giving and a special tribute for beloved pets, KFC Malaysia is making sure that no one is left out of the celebration.

“Raya is about togetherness, and true togetherness means making space for everyone who matters. Today, families come in all forms, and the way we celebrate should reflect that. As a brand deeply rooted in Malaysian culture, we see it as our role to create meaningful experiences that unite and uplift,” says Hanim Mazam, Chief Marketing Officer, KFC Malaysia.

Bringing Families Together Through Rumah Terbuka KFC
Staying true to the spirit of rumah terbuka, KFC Malaysia is opening its doors to all, with a unique twist. Select KFC outlets across Shah Alam, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, Alor Setar, and Kota Kinabalu will transform into vibrant Turkish Bazaars, immersing guests in a festive marketplace atmosphere.

Guests can enjoy free KFC meals, exciting family activities featuring Chicky, and exclusive merchandise—including a limited-edition secret drop featuring a costume suit for cats. The celebration will also include fun and engaging experiences, giving visitors a chance to win KFC vouchers. Stay tuned to KFC’s social pages for the official reveal and more details!

A Celebration Truly Fit for Every Family Member
Family is at the heart of every celebration at KFC. As the definition of family evolves, KFC Malaysia recognizes that pets—especially cats—are an integral part of modern family life, even sharing special moments during festive occasions.

To celebrate this bond, KFC is making it official by extending the festive spirit to furry companions with the launch of the KFC Raya Meow-Riah Collection—a limited-edition clothing line made for cats. Yes, you read that right!

Designed and handcrafted locally with love, just like KFC’s finger-lickin’ good meals, the collection draws inspiration from batik motifs, intricately weaving in iconic elements from the KFC menu. The Baju Melayu and Baju Kebaya, come in sizes S, M, and L, allowing cats to dress the part and match their owners’ Raya vibes.

Sold exclusively on KFC Malaysia’s official TikTok Shop, this marks the brand’s first venture into TikTok Shop Live, tapping into a passionate online pet-loving community. “Our livestreams have been received positively so far, garnering over 1.5 million impressions and 60,000 live views in just three days since launch,” shares Hajar Yusof, Head of Digital Experience at Naga DDB Tribal.

Serving Up Hope To Families, One Bucket at a Time.
Beyond bringing people (and pets) together, KFC Malaysia remains dedicated to uplifting communities in need with the return of KFC Bucket Sehati. As part of its commitment to giving back, KFC will donate RM0.50 from every Bucket Sehati combo purchased to Malaysians in need through its Add Hope initiative during the festive period.

Add Hope is part of KFC Malaysia’s ongoing mission to nourish communities and bring people together over food, not just in homes, but wherever a shared meal can make a difference, one bucket at a time.
