Havas Malaysia Awarded Costa Coffee’s Integrated Mandate

Costa Coffee, the renowned British coffeehouse chain has awarded its integrated mandate to Havas Malaysia. Havas Malaysia’s proven expertise in social media, robust digital capabilities, and a well-defined strategic vision in creating an engaging consumer journey tailored for the Malaysian audience played a pivotal role in securing this significant win.

This achievement follows Havas Malaysia’s recent expansion of its client roster.

Under this mandate, Havas Malaysia will spearhead all marketing efforts for the brand, encompassing strategy, digital marketing, social media, creative, trade marketing, and in-store assets.

Costa Coffee was founded in London in 1971 and were the first coffee shop chain to introduce the Flat White in the UK. With their express machines, they revolutionized the industry by bringing coffee shop-quality beverages to convenience stores and roadsides across the UK.

Globally, they stand as the second-largest coffeehouse chain and the largest in the UK. In Malaysia, Costa Coffee has made a significant impact by introducing over 650 Costa Smart Cafes (self-serve machines) nationwide and establishing 14 Costa Coffee Stores in Klang Valley, KLIA, and Langkawi airports.

The brand now looks to expand further in Malaysia, not only by increasing its store locations but also by actively enhancing its brand equity in the Malaysian market.
