Facebook appointed Joanna Wong as Head of Marketing for its Malaysia and Indonesia market, last week and according to a post on her LinkedIn, the company is looking to hire a Country Marketing Manager for Malaysia.

Prior to joining Facebook, Joanna held several high-level marketing positions such as VP of Marketing for the global video creation platform, 90 seconds; APAC Marketing Director for Spotify and Associate Manager for HBO’s International Marketing based in New York.

In the LinkedIn post announcing her move, Joanna said she is thrilled to join the Facebook family. “Virtual on-boarding isn’t the easiest but I’m truly excited and inspired by the culture that FB has cultivated and the sincere focus on Diversity & Inclusion.(Yes, I drank the Kool-aid and it tastes great!),” she wrote.

It was in that same post that Joanna announced she is looking to hire a Country Marketing Manager. The role, among other things, will be responsible for all B2B marketing execution to enhance Facebook’s B2B brand as well as to accelerate business growth in Malaysia.
