Donevan Chew Appointed as Chief Creative Officer for Havas Immerse

Havas Immerse Malaysia has appointed Donevan Chew as Chief Creative Officer for the agency, taking over from Kerry Khoo. 

In his new role, Donevan will continue to lead the strategic vision as well as bolster the creative offering in response to growing and diversified client needs in the market.

Previously the creative partner at Muma Malaysia, Donevan has over 22 years of experience in creating campaigns of proven effectiveness for various blue-chip clients. 

His work has been recognised across the globe and has won various accolades including the Cannes Lions, Clio, the One Show, D&AD, Spikes Asia (including a Grand Prix), AdFest as well as the Effies. 

Donevan has also been a constant jury member for the Malaysian Kancil Awards and has been part of the Grand Jury for New York Festivals, Citra Pariwara Awards as well as the London International Advertising (LIA) Awards. 

He’s also actively mentoring creative talents across the region through the LIA Creative LIAison programme.
