The changes he shared is not only experienced by countries and governments but also individuals, this he added gave everyone the potential to influence.

As a generation that is entrepreneurial, innovative and creative, SY advised youths that they should seize the opportunity of interconnectivity to realise their aspirations, while bearing in mind the urgency to propagate positive influences that could potentially drive solutions to global issues like poverty, hunger and terrorism.

He offered five lessons for Malaysians to move to be global citizens. These are; rejecting extremism, becoming the master of technology, leading with integrity, collaborating with others and embracing authenticity.

He hoped that youths would not exploit the opportunities offered by the globalised world but rather doing what they can to make the world a better place.
