Target audiences and track brand performance for free

Two new solutions recently launched to explore target audiences and track brand performance with best-in-class data tools, and that are fast, intuitive and in-browser, can enable intelligent decision-making and informed conversations – for free.

Powered by data from YouGov, an international research and data analytics technology group, the two tools are a key part of the group’s public data offering and is part of its vision to be a valued public and client platform.

“Understanding your audiences is vital to building your brand, engaging your customers and ultimately beating the competition,” said Stephan Shakespeare, CEO and co-founder of YouGov.

Profiles Lite, using data gathered from 51 markets across the world, lets users get an accurate overview of their target audience, with results tailored to their sector, and also filter multiple demographic and attitudinal audience variables.

This allows the user to discover their audience’s likes, interests and behaviours, purchasing habits and the best media sources through which to reach them.

BrandIndex Lite uses data from the Buzz metric of YouGov’s flagship product, YouGov BrandIndex for a clearer picture of brand performance.

This tool lets users discover how audiences feel about their brand, and benchmark against others in the industry with filters for market, industry and demographic, for an accurate overview of their – and their competitors’ – brand performance, with data from over 54 markets.

“It is our mission to democratise data – making it easier for people to have access to and make use of world consumer intelligence. Free access to Profiles Lite and BrandIndex Lite does just that,” Stephan said.

With operations in the UK, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, India and Asia Pacific, YouGov helps brands, media owners and agencies to plan and track their marketing activities.
