RinggitPlus.com, Malaysia’s leading financial comparison website, has appointed an integrated team of Grey Group Malaysia, Mindshare Malaysia and Zeno Group Malaysia for its brand communications.
The appointment follows a competitive pitch also involving over a half dozen other top specialist and integrated media agencies operating in Malaysia.
Hann Liew, Co-Founder & CEO of RinggitPlus (pic below) said: “This pitch signals our seriousness in taking RinggitPlus to the next level – especially demonstrated with the caliber of agencies we invited.
We already had high expectations for this pitch as we had the best agencies in Malaysia involved, but ultimately it was the combined effort from Grey, Mindshare and Zeno that blew us away.”
“What was immediately apparent was this wasn’t just a media plan or campaign proposal.
“We walked away feeling like we’ve just been pitched a big, bold, integrated plan to reshape RinggitPlus’ place and purpose in society; not by three different agencies, but one integrated team,” he said.
The integrated team from Grey, Mindshare and Zeno will be charged with managing all aspects of RinggitPlus’ brand communications – from the creative campaign development, media operations and public relations to digital and social media execution – with the key task of elevating RinggitPlus’ brand by bringing to life its compelling purpose and role in Malaysians society.
Irene Wong, CEO, Grey Group Malaysia said: “When we first saw the brief from RinggitPlus, we immediately knew that we had to join forces with the other best-in-class agencies in the market to bring a truly integrated proposal onto the table and match the client’s ambition.
“The magic was, it worked beautifully!”
Dheeraj Raina, Managing Director, Mindshare Malaysia adds: “The result was a hardworking total brand approach, that engages on every front but is aligned along a single thought and purpose. This makes every asset, media investment or engagement activity much more impactful when executed in concert than in isolation.”
David Lian, Managing Director, Zeno Malaysia echoes: “We’re looking forward to work with RinggitPlus’ top-class team in bringing to life the brand’s purpose in a relevant way that delivers impact to all Malaysians. As partners, we want to do work that will not just make our client famous, but work that effectively makes a real change to people’s lives.”
Liew concludes: “We are at a critical stage of growth for RinggitPlus since inception in 2012. “As we make the next leap, we want to shape RinggitPlus not just as another online financial services startup, but as a homegrown Malaysian brand that will play a purposeful role in making things better for all Malaysians.”
