Pernod Ricard Malaysia appoints Faye Yong as new Marketing Director

Faye Yong has been recently chosen as Marketing Director of Pernod Ricard Malaysia. She was previously the Marketing Innovation Director at Vinda Group SEA where she played a strategic role in managing portfolios, strategising and architecting the brand and innovating the business and market expansions.

Joining Pernod Ricard Malaysia is a totally different industry for Faye as her 17-year-old career has predominantly been in the hygiene industry. When  asked what she was most excited about in terms of this change, she said, “Immersing myself (perhaps literally) with wines and spirits would be the most exciting part.” 

“Not to mention Pernod Ricard has an amazing work culture based on entrepreneurship, despite being a global multinational company,” she added.

Faye’s first plan of action once she joins the company that has a strong heritage in leading brands both locally and globally, is to not just continue the legacy and take the brand to another level. According to her, building strong brand connections and driving innovations will also be top priority. 

Pernod Ricard is a French company that produces alcoholic beverages and is the world’s second-largest wine and spirits seller.
