The homegrown talents of PU4LYF Entertainment in collaboration with tech pioneer, Lakefront Xperience (LFx), partnered with Lotus Fivestar Cinemas (LFS) and Keep It Local Entertainment to present LYFTIME TOUR – Live at The Coliseum LFS Kuala Lumpur recently.
The show introduced an hour and a half of visual and audio elevation featuring some of Malaysia’s top artists such as Rabbit Mac, Santesh, Sheezay, Havoc Brothers, Abimanyu and more.
This concert marked the world’s first 7.1 surround sound live Tamil concert. With 150 tickets available for purchase (due to social distancing), the world’s first 7.1 live Tamil concert was delivered to a sold-out theatre.
COVID-19 protocols were also put into place: singular entrances and exits, social distancing enforcements, contactless ticketing, mandatory face mask usage, and disinfection of the venue prior to show.
“It has been five months since we had a show and we finally performed. Times are tough but what is important is the ability and willpower to innovate at times like this,” said Rabbit Mac, Founder of PU4LYF Entertainment.
For the first time in Tamil concert history, PU4LYF and LFx also broadcasted the live event in 5.1 surround sound.
The digital LYFTIME TOUR was set up as a pay-per-view live stream and made available for fans who were unable to attend the concert in person or preferred watching it from home.
This excited fans globally especially from Singapore, Switzerland, India, and many more.
The patented technology (LFx) enabled “plug-and-play” live performance using existing cinema equipment. It enabled production to be designed in surround sound and larger-than-life visuals.
“The world is moving into experiential content. PU4LYF embraced this by creating and entertaining fans through the Lakefront Xperience, with live shows and live streaming both in surround sound amidst a global pandemic.” said Bryan Tan, CEO of Lakefront Xperience.JD Sports Malaysia joined the collaboration and sponsored merchandise for all of the performing artists.
