(Marketingmagazine.com.my) – M&C Saatchi-i Malaysia has announced two key hires to strengthen their digital capacity.
Joining from an international consultancy, &samhoud, Darren Lee will be leading M&C Saatchi-I’s digital team as the unit’s Creative Director. Jodie Collins, former managing director of RE Digital has also joined the team, holding the role of Digital Strategy and Social Media Consultant.
In their new roles, Darren will lead the agency’s digital creative teams, bringing along over 13 years of experience. Starting off as a copywriter at Ogilvy &Mather and working his ranks up from Associate Creative Director to Creative Director, Darren spearheaded internationally acclaimed projects and now aims to take M&C Saatchi Malaysia’s digital team to the next level.
Speaking on joining the agency Darren shared, “The possibilities with digital are endless. But what sets a brand apart is creative interactivity, and how it weaves itself into today’s digital culture. It’s how we combine elements that are native to the digital space with human insights. I’m excited for this opportunity to be part of M&C Saatchi’s creative roster and help strengthen its digital creative capabilities.”
Jodie, with 18 years of experience in marketing, advertising and digital, brings to the table her vast knowledge and skills in digital marketing and technology. With her experience across various brands and industries, she strives to take M&C Saatchi-i Malaysia to the next level in strategic thinking while beefing up its social and technical capacity by implementing best practice in its current business.
