impact.com, the world’s leading partnership management platform, has kicked off 2022 with a raft of new hires and promotions to support its rapid growth across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China and Southeast Asia and to prepare for its launch into India in 2023.

Ayaan Mohamud (pictured) has been promoted from Regional Marketing Director, APAC to the newly created position of Regional Vice President of Marketing, APAC with a remit to further expand the impact.com marketing team across the region. She has appointed Laurence Nelmes to the newly created role of Marketing Executive for ANZ and is still actively recruiting for another team member in Sydney.

Recent MBA graduate, Laurence becomes the seventh member of the APAC marketing team having previously joined impact.com as a Business Development Representative in March 2021.

“Ayaan joined impact.com almost three years ago as our first marketing hire across APAC and has been a strategic and executional powerhouse since day one,” said Adam Furness, APAC Managing Director at impact.com. “She has been instrumental in helping drive our exponential growth across APAC with agile and innovative marketing initiatives that have helped raise awareness and understanding of the partnership economy. With more resources now available to her, the sky’s the limit to what she can achieve next.”

Commenting on her appointment, Ayaan Mohamud, RVP Marketing, APAC at impact.com said, “When I joined impact.com as their first regional marketing resource, I knew it was the opportunity of a lifetime to create a foundational APAC marketing strategy and build a local team to drive demand for a new category of marketing technology – partnership automation. We’ve already exceeded our ambitious growth plans and I’m looking forward to leading our marketing team to new heights as we launch into Japan this year and India in 2023.”

Impact.com have also added bench strength to their local customer success, partnership and sales teams. Deborah Kan joins as Partnership Development Manager, ANZ after a two-year stint as Account Manager at Are Media’s BEAUTY VOICES; Hayley Tse joins as Customer Success Manager, ANZ after three years’ affiliate agency experience at Acceleration Partners and iProspect; Kim Sippel joins as Corporate Account Executive, APAC from web governance SaaS company, Monsido; and Diana Letran has been appointed Pre-sales Solution Architect after a 10-year career across digital ad operations, sales, trading and programmatic, most recently as Lead Ad Operations at Finder.

In July 2021, the company closed a $150 million round of funding at a $1.5 billion valuation in preparation for an IPO, part of which was ear-marked to enable impact.com to double the number of its employees across APAC in 2022.

To help nurture the significantly expanded team, Tanya Suna has been promoted to the newly created position of Director of People and Culture, APAC. Tanya joined impact.com three and a half years ago as People Development Manager APAC and has over 20 years’ experience in digital, media and tech startups.
