GO Communications appointed to manage AXXESS’s PR and communication initiatives

GO Communications has been commissioned by innovative insurance benefits provider, AXXESS, to manage its full spectrum of traditional and digital public relations and communications initiatives to promote the brand and fortify its leadership position throughout the country.

The agency will be responsible for running AXXESS’s traditional public relations and communications campaigns and initiatives and will also manage and execute a varied scope of digital and social media initiatives such as content planning and creation, the development and management of AXXESS’ social media channels (including Facebook and Instagram), as well as digital and social media advertising.

The timely appointment comes as AXXESS recently rolled out its dedicated Covid-19 insurance plan available to all Malaysians from aged one month to 65 years – the first of its kind in Malaysia.

CEO of AXXESS, Richard Devaraj

“The recent spate of record infections in Malaysia is truly concerning, to say the least,” said CEO of AXXESS, Richard Devaraj. “Our appointment of GO Communications, therefore, couldn’t have been timelier, in this regard, to enable as many Malaysians to benefit from this truly unique product.”

Richard added that GO Communications possesses the right experience, knowledge and expertise, coupled with an impressive track record of helping businesses to grow and thrive, especially during turbulent times.

“Using innovative tactical approaches to public relations and communications, we are confident we have made the right business move, and see GO not merely as an agency but a strategic business partner to propel the brand forward,” he said. “Besides the Covid-19 plan, we are also strategically working with them to roll out more multifaceted products and services, and strengthen our brand’s positioning in the country.”

CEO of GO Communications, Peter de Kretser

In addition to AXXESS Covid-19 Protect plan, the company has also gained recognition in recent times for its innovative products and insurance benefits programmes, all of which can be purchased online without requiring prior medical checkups. Many of these plans also leverage on unique partnerships with other brands, insurance companies, and service providers.

“Working within a creative environment, it is truly refreshing to come across a company that shares similar values such as AXXESS, who we predict will, in due time, prove themselves to be a force to be reckoned with as an alternative insurance benefits provider in Malaysia,” said CEO of GO Communications, Peter de Kretser. “We are truly excited to be working together and have already deliberated on strategically forging effective synergies and partnerships in the business community, while harnessing the magic of public relations and digital to effectively position AXXESS as an industry leader in Malaysia.”
