foodpanda now offers 24-hour delivery!
foodpanda, the on-demand international food delivery service, celebrated turning six in Malaysia with some very big announcements.
In conjunction with turning six, Sayantan Das, MD, foodpanda Malaysia talked about the evolution of the brand, the positive changes it has had both restaurant partners and consumers as well as how the company has become part of Delivery Hero; the largest food delivery company globally.
In the past year alone, foodpanda Malaysia has seen some big changes including becoming a publicly listed company, turning pink and launching a new city, Johor Bahru. This year, foodpanda aims to expand across Malaysia.
Sayantan also officially announced that foodpanda will be launching 24-hour delivery this May.
“In line with our mission to bring good food into your every day, we at foodpanda will now be bringing good food to you every night at well.
“We wanted to provide our customers with the convenience of satisfying their cravings from their favourite restaurant in the comfort of their own home any time of the day,” said Sayantan.

After 20 years of evolving technology, shifting market trends, and adapting to changing consumer behaviour, the media landscape has nearly reached saturation.
We’ve optimised to the fullest, providing advertisers with abundant choices across technology, platforms, data-driven marketing, CTV, OTT, DOOH, influencer marketing, retail, etc.
Media specialists have diversified, but with more options comes the challenge of maintaining income growth. The industry is expanding, but revenue isn’t keeping pace.
Now, we’re at a TURNING POINT: time to explore and harness new sustainable revenue streams. While GroupM forecasts a 7.8% global ad revenue growth in 2024, challenges like antitrust regulation, AI and copyright issues, and platform bans persist.
Collaboration is key: partnerships that thrive on synergy, shared values, and aligned goals are becoming increasingly essential.
Hence, the Malaysian Media Conference, in its 20th year, has assembled the partners and players under one roof on October 25 for a day of learning, sharing, and exploring.
