Bollywood megastar and former White House Creative director to speak at Spikes

(marketingmagazine.com.my) – We are less than two weeks away from Asia’s leading creative festival, Spikes Asia. Apart from rewarding deserving campaigns that bring creativity to greater heights, the festival will also feature key creative leaders sharing their insights.

Speaking on event’s first day (21st September) is one of India’s biggest movie stars Anil Kapoor who will draw on his experience on both sides of the camera for his session titled, ‘Marketing’s holy trinity for the new world: creativity technology and partnerships’.

Though many know Anil as an award-winning actor having starred in various blockbuster hits such as Slumdog Millionaire, many forget that he is also a highly successful movie producer and media entrepreneur. Joined by Mastercard’s Head of Marketing Sam Ahmed, during the session they’ll talk creativity, technology and the power of partnerships to create both profit and positive change in the world.

Ashleigh Axios, former White House creative director and digital strategist is also set to speak at Spikes Asia. An advocate for design’s ability to break barriers and create positive social change, Ashleigh will be sitting down with Dentsu Inc.’s Yoshihiro Yagi to take us behind-the-scenes of her successful digital campaigns for the Obama administration.

Similar to TED Talks, The APPIES is the chance for great presenters with outstanding work to show it off to some of the industry’s most important industry leaders.

This year’s winners will receive Gold, Silver or Bronze trophies for 21 categories, and 6 special Best of Best categories (red trophies) that require no submissions!
