Chan May Ling has come on board CelcomDigi as Head of Brand and Marketing Services to help shape the new combined entity into a telco super brand.
This marks her return to the telco fold, after having spent almost ten years at Digi previously, and over three years at Telenor Myanmar.
Her last posting was Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of KFC Malaysia at QSR Brands. May Ling also won Gold as Marketer of The Year in Retail & Promotions Marketing at the Malaysian CMO Awards 2022.
At KFC Malaysia, Premnath Unnikrishnan has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer. A seasoned industry player, Prem was Head of MarTech for Digital Strategy at QSR Brands Malaysia for over a year, and before that Head of Digital, E-Commerce and Retention at Pizza Hut Malaysia
Previously, he was Head of Digital at Havas Media Malaysia and also served at Lyca Digital, part of the UK-based Lyca Group where he was heading Digital Marketing for LycaMobile across 25 markets.
