The Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) has appointed digital enablement firm, C27, for its web duties as it moves toward transforming its presence to keep up with digitalisation trends that are vital for survival in the present environment.
“The appointment of C27 marks the beginning of MBR’s move to finally try and keep up with the times,” said MBR Marketing Director, Jwan Heah. “Appointing a renowned digital native creative agency is an unprecedented move in MBR’s 26-year history, and to us, it is our first small step to position ourselves along some of the biggest brands in Malaysia.”
C27’s appointment comes a year after The Malaysia Book Of Records embarked on a transformative plan that aims to bring ‘The Book’ into the current era and ensure its continued relevance.
“C27 was selected due to their understanding of current trends, focus on performance, and proven capabilities in the digital sphere, which is what MBR is in dire need of.” Jwan added. “The icing on the cake was their exceptional client servicing where the team continuously added value with each of their frequent follow-up conversations.”
C27’s client portfolio includes brands such as Mcdonald’s, Netflix, Spotify, Permodalan Nasional Berhad, Touch N’ Go Digital and U-Mobile.
The agency will be undertaking the responsibility of creating a meaningful digital presence for The Malaysia Book Of Records and consulting on a modern digital roadmap. According to a statement released by the agency, Its focus on delivery for MBR is to produce iconic and culturally relevant work.
